It takes serious bandwidth to pull this off. Being in the business of web development has it's advantages and I'm able to have more resources than most people can get at a much lower cost. The rules here are a little more lax than at other forums. There are no language filters, however the place is not a free for all either. The forums and gallery will be moderated for content. The common sense "Don't be a Jerk" rule shall be the only rule that this community lives by. This may sound a little open ended and well..... it is. I like it like that. It also means I get to concentrate on what really matters. There is little tolerance for bashing others or their cars. Do it, and you'll find your stay here very short. The same goes for personal attacks, name calling and genuinely immature behavior. A little about who I am, and why I've become a new Mustang addict. 39 years ago my Dad bought a brand new 66' Mustang Fastback. I was on the way, and maybe he saw it as his last chance at something fun for awhile, or maybe he always envisioned handing the car down to me, an icon preserved from my very birth-year. I literally grew up in this car. I remember the occasional trips to New Hampshire from Rhode Island with me riding in the back on the flat area left behind by the folded down rear seat. The cross - country adventure when the family moved out west to Arizona. The car was stolen twice, run into a house once, and t-boned by a yellow Camaro. Hopefully my new Stang won't have the rough life my previous one did. I sold my 66' just before I left for the Navy in 1984, and for years later both my dad and I regretted selling it. In recent years we had talked about getting another fastback to restore, unfortunately time ran out for my dad. He passed away a few years ago and never got to see a concept or know what was coming for the Mustang. I'm sure he would love the new stang, and I certainly haven't been this excited about a car in a long-time. It's about time I have something fun to drive again. For directions on how to set up your gallery go to the tutorial section and start showing everyone just how great the new Mustang is. Enjoy the site, and come back often! |
